AnaLise's Senior Photos | Birthday Post

Ladies and Gents, I'd like to introduce you all to my gorgeous sister, AnaLise.  This girl has never ceased to amaze and inspire me with her talents, encourage me in the Lord, and make me laugh until I cry.  I could never ask for a more special sister.

It's due time for her Senior post, and I though I should combine it with her Birthday post, which was in December.  She is now 18 years old!!  She is graduating this Spring with plans on majoring in ESL (English as a Second Language).

To finish off this post, I have included her senior photos who were taken by Meagan Wanschura, who you might have noticed has become our "personal photographer." ;)  I have to add that AnaLise is definitely a natural beauty... these photos are amazing!

Sorry for over-loading you with photos, these were all just so amazing that I had to share them all. :)  I think it's safe to say that she's one of the most gorgeous girls I know.  Love you like crazy, Anz!

Jacob's Birthday Post!

November 5th, we celbrated Jacob's second birthday in America.  He has been such a blessing to our family these past two and a half years.  When first meeting Jacob, you might get the first impression that Jacob is quiet and shy.. but after getting to know him, he will talk your ears off! ;)  Jacob is an avid outdoors-man; he loves setting traps, and hopes to be out hunting with a bow, as well as a gun pretty soon!  Along with his love for outdoors, Jacob is often found working on a project of some sort.  His current favorite hobby is building remote control model airplanes!  Jacob is very skilled in this area, and loves to make new creations out of different odds and ends.

We celebrated Jacob's birthday together as a family.  For his birthday meal, Mom made a delicious pot of Ukrainian Borscht, Jacob's favorite soup.  We also went to Grand Slam the day after.  Here we played rounds of put put golf, lazertag, and go-carts. =)  We all agreed that our family favorite was the lazer tag.. being the competitive family we are, we ended up playing like five times in a row! It was so nice to have a special time together with the whole family.

2013 Family Pictures

This past September, we attended our church's annual retreat at Story Book Lodge, located near Biwabic, MN.  We had a wonderful time fellowshipping with our church family and marveling at God's beautiful creation in northern Minnesota.  At the end of the weekend we had our family photos taken by Meagan Wanschura.

Congrats, Lucas!!!

Hats off to Lucas, who graduated from high school!  Lucas, we love you so much.  Your sweet spirit and sensitive heart are a blessing from the Lord.  Thank you for being such a great brother!

The Lost Elevator

Just recently we attended the premiere of a fabulous radio theater production our friends put together called, "The Lost Elevator."  As you can tell from the above picture, the theme was the 1930's.  We had a blast and definitely enjoyed the drama.                                 HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!
                             

             Happy Birthday to my wonderful sister, Tessa! It seems like just yesterday that we were dressing up as Laura and Mary in Little House on the Prairie, building forts in the woods, or playing school with our dolls...and now here she is 15 years old! Tessa is a beautiful, happy, talented, and spunky young lady who never ceases to bring a smile to my face. She is my closest friend, my partner in crime, ;) and someone whom I truly admire. Her love for life is contagious, and her love for Jesus shines through her smile ..I'll let the pictures say the rest. =)
